To Akwesasne Highschool Graduates:

The Onake Corporation was established in 1974 as a not-for-profit corporation. Each year, the Onake Corporation, as a not-for-profit corporation, awards a bursary to one graduating high school student from Akwesasne.This year, the award will be $1,000 Canadian to a deserving graduating high school student based on an essay submission. The essay must answer this question:

What does the Mohawk Language mean to you?

As well as your essay, please provide:

• Your Legal Name and Nicknames you may be known as.

• Civic Address

• Phone number

• High School you are currently attending

  DEADLINE: June 17 2025 at 6 pm.
